i need some advice

well i think that i may have come to a conclusion to sell my car. the motor is toasted its got very little body damage to the right front bumper. almost new tires, battery, other new parts i want a grand for it which i think is fair. it only needs a stinking motor.

Sorry about your car...

Will you have options IMO.

1. Sell car as is
2. Buy another motor and install on your car, sell old one for parts.
3. Part out entire car, this might take a process but you will probably earn more money at the end.

I say buy new motor put it in and sell it shouldn't cost you much and you will recieve alot more money than just selling as is.

$1000 might still be too much..i bought my brothers car $1000 and it only needed a new coil (98 civic dx)

i dont really have a bunch of time to wait around though. i have 2 young daughters and desperately need a running car.

Maybe part out your old motor to get some money for a new one? Or use the blown motor to rebuild another? Just throwing out options. Sorry to hear about your car. Good luck to you!

Do you know whats wrong with the engine?
Can you do labor yourself? If yes then pickup another engine and drop it in, you can probably find one on craigslist cheap.
