my brother just bought an 89 crx and i was lookin at the engine code and it is a D15b6. i tried to find some info on this motor but had no luck and i wanna know a few things like whats the hp numbers and the model this motor came in because the car says Si but i know its not an Si. any info will be greatly thanked.

lol! yup, my buddy has that motor now in his '89 hatchie.... DAMN IS IT SLOOOOOWWW!! painfully slow!!! It's also attached to a 4spd manual! 4 SPEED!!!!!EX 2000 said:

Your brother's newly aquired car could quite possibly be an Si with a lesser engine swapped into it. But it most likely was a victim of sticker charging (Si badge). A very easy way to tell is, does it have a rear windshield wiper? If not, tell your brother to rip off that Si badge so he doesn't make a fool of himself.
