Hi everyone , my friend bought a 94 fully built turbo integra with 9 psi and about a month his car just start to blow alot of black smoke and oil was coming out the oil dipstick so he took it to a mechanic and they said that he has two options 1.Rebuilt the whole engine 2.buy a new engine , he doesn't know anything about turbo and me neither also he doesn't has the money to fix it and he's selling me the whole car for 1,500 dollars and i will have to buy the new engine, do you guys think i should buy that car for that price? and can a stock gsr engine take a turbo setup? all comments and suggestions are very welcome! thanks in advance.

alright guys i'll talk to him to make a deal, well i would say exterior 8/10 and interior 7/10 and it has some kind of front and rear bodykit and 17`racing hart wheels, can i make use of any part from the old engine? the mechanic said he fried the pistons and rings and some other things. thanks

Some other things...? Just get a new bottom end, the time and labor might still cost you to up a grand. Define fully built, you could prob reuse the rods.
