my car...my pretty lil car...i have a 92 cx and my IACV valve went bad...so i went to this civic thats abandid in the park and i grabbed one from it...when i first installed it to my car i noticed a size difference...but the 2 holes lined up perfectly so i figure just one holding nut should be fine...so i installed it and the car started up...and it ran for a while...i started cleaning up my tools and my car just shut off...and i was thinking...oooo f**k...so i went to turn it back on and it wouldn't start...it would make the crankin sound right b4 the engine ignites...and it would just keep doin that...i see the cam spinnin and the alternator spinning but the engine doesn't go...so i took off the ecu and the back up fuses from the fuse box under the hood...had it off for 10 seconds put them back on and started the engine again...it still doesn't turn on...my grls dad said it could be my alternator since i just recently changed the battery...i'm thinking a dead ecu or a blown engine...can someone help me out please? thank you, since no one answered this in the tech forum i hope u guys could help me out =[ if my ecu died...how could i test it... :?:
