IACV help plz

so im doing a mini me wiht a y8 head, but keeping a y7 IM (im sswapping to the custom one the next day)

here is my Q, what do i do about the iacv thing

, like do i have to get a 2 plug one (auto ecu) or im kid of lost.

final setup

JRSC
auto p2p
y8 head swap

iacv confusion abounds!

where can i even get a 2 wire iacv

i have a y8 intake mani with the 2 prong iacv, will that one work if i raid it?

i know hteyre is some ambiguity regarding auto/manual

an auto p2p ecu will look for a 3 wire iacv. i'm almost positive the auto p2p was a 3 wire. i know it was mounted on the TB. whereas a 5spd p2p is a 2wire iacv mounted on the back of the IM.

so for now you should be fine. what are you doing for boost management when you put the JRSC on? if you are going to swap to obd1 so you can chip and tune then you will want to swap to a 2 wire iacv. obd1 looks for a 2 wire.

in terms of boost management, im running hte JR boost controller, a vtec controller, and map sensor

im keeping it obd2 with an automatic ecu becaue im getting a custom made tiptronic style auto transmission made

i'm not familiar with the jr boost controller. but if that isn't controlling fuel and timing than you're in trouble. sorry i don't know supercharger setups like i do turbo setups. i know them like the back of my hand

i'm guessing it's a lame piggy back system like the greddy blue box?

anything else you need help with?
