Identifying Turbo Components help!

Hey guys i just recieved my Garrett t3 .42/.48. Now I'm having trouble identifying some fittings and such. If you wouldn't mind helping me out that would be great.

Now, the whole big thing attached to #1 i think is the wastegate which i was told was set at 8 psi. Is this actually a wastegate? And as far as adjusting it, is it even possible? It is in this casing or something and there is a plate at the end thats screwed on. Now, im wondering what the #1 fitting thing is. I believe #3 is the oil out, but im not sure what #2 is, it just comes out of the compressor. And also, is this oil and water cooled? im not sure. Where would the oil in be?

And on this one, i think it may be a t31 bolt pattern from what i have researched but im not positive, Should i weld the downpipe onto the circular piece thats already on there? or take that circular piece off and get a flange and weld it to that? Thanks for your help guys!

1. dont know what that is
2. it is the wastegate, and it can be adjusted using a boost controller
3. oil out.

and no you shouldnt weld the downpipe onto that, unless thats the flange in which case you should, but only if you can unbolt that part

1 and 2 run a vac hose to, its the waste gate actuator. or run a manual boos controler between here.
3. oil outlet

Aight well here is the opposite side of the oil out. Its got a cover thing screwed onto it, and a metal pipe sticking out of it, However, the pipe is like pinched shut, like from a machine or something i dunno. I'm debating if i can use this turbo or not? The cover can be removed (i don't have tools here at school) but i guess its the exact same as the other side? It doesn't look like the other turbo line ins i've seen.

the turbo looks mint to me. just remove those bolts and it will reveal the oil inlet

the inlet will look exactly the same as the outlet once you take it off.

older Mercedes t3, nice

good thing it has a newer compressor housing on it, the original one is impossible to work with

a standard oil inlet flange will work just fine on that snail

the Stealthmode kit from www.tunertoys.com will work great

#1 is the wastegate, get a boost controll to adjust it
#2 is a port for vacuum/boost lines, same as the ones on the intake manifold, run that one directly to the wastegate or boost controler then wastegate.
#3 is the oil inlet/exit

that it not a watercooled turbo.

turbo looks good give it a try.
