idle issues.. 94 ls

I have a 93 civic with an 94 integra LS engine swap with a 5 speed man. trans. I just recently purchased the vehicle, i have a few bugs i need worked out..
*the idle isnt constant, its always fluctuating and when i take off occasionally it wants to bog down on me, mostly this it happening while its warm, (possibly a coolant issue?)
* also i have a clutch issue the engageing point changes sometime or becomes really long and slow, i think its possibly the slave cylinder?
i have a fuel pressure regulator, fuel it constant and stable, the plugs wires cap and rotor are new, and all cylinders have equal pressure.

ok so i tried the unplugging of the mass air flow sensor and the idle dropped low then picked back up real high.. so it has to be a coolant temp sensor then? and will that get rid of the sputter as well? oh and which sensor controls the ecu? it it the one on the side of the block or the thermostat housing?
