idling problem

sooo yea i got a chipped PM6 with a BRE basemap made by a guy on turbod16.com .....i got everything hooked up right but it just wont idle.....but once i take off the 2.5bar map sensor and put the stock map sensor on it idles just fine......well i bought a new 2.5bar map sensor and still does the same thing?

when the stock ecu is hooked up (b4 i hooked up the turbo), it got a CEL which the ecu blinked 8 times and we figured out the code was TDC postition......well when we put the chipped ecu now with the turbo and the CEL comes on but no code??? so we disconnect the IACV to check if it would throw that code and it does..... sooooo....... i honestly dont know ??

might just need to get the car tuned.. i had the same problem ( i had a chipped ECU , but one not for my set up or MAP sensor).. it was for some other mapsensor ( either stock or 5 bar).. i had a GM 3 bar..

and the car did not want to idle,, it would either idle realllllllllllllllly low. or if i'd burp the throttle and the RPMs went up on the way down it just went straight to 0 and stalled!!

might be that the "chipp" is for a different mapsensor.

and u might be getting codes on the stock ECU that you are not getting on the "chipped" one because some chippers/tuners negate codes . For example i have a OBD2 car (two o2 sensors ), i only have one because i am also useing a Wideband, and my tuner blanked out the 2nd o2 out the computer so it won't trow a cell.

to make a long story short , my car would idle, but very loww and i went to get tuned with the attitude of " well it will run good, but just have a messed up idle"... and i was suprided because he cleaned up the idle. soo my only advice i have for you is to get it tuned.

its obd0 so its hard to find a tuner....hmmm.....i know the basemap is for my map sensor and everything ive checked over the basemap to make sure......everything looks fine but for some reason it just wont run with the 2.5bar......

did you get your sensor from xenocron? i've been hearing of other people haveing trouble with theirs from him

ive bought 2 2.5bar map sensors already.....if someone needs a 2.5bar map sensor let me know lol
