Talk about bad luck...
today i noticed that my drivers side rear view mirror was a little crooked, so i decided to fix the damn thing
So i remove the small triangular panel on the inside to get at the screws, i start removing them, but one was rusted like crazy, so instead of first spraying it with some grease, i just turned the damn thing, and SNAP...it broke off

so i was like "s**t" i cant just leave it hanging there, so i removed the whole thing, and took it apart, i had to make my own screw to fit in its place, so i did and drilled it into the body
then when i put the rearview mirror back on, for some reason the window had difficulties rolling up and down....so I was like "what now"...
turns out the hole i drilled, was too close to the sleave were the window slides up and down.....

so finally i loosen the screw, and grease the inside of the sleave so everything would work smothely...
in the end, what was supposed to take me 3 minutes, took me an hour............

At least they make these parts, in a way, that if they break, you can fix it yourself, imagine if i went out to get a brand new rearview mirror...

Could have been worse, it wouldn't be working on the car if everything went according to plan.

Hell, you got off easy. My kill switch ended up taking me like 4 hrs when I put it in, then another hour when my shoddy solder job failed ;)
