not as far as i know... oil preasure will GENERALLY coincide with amount of oil.. in other words.. NORMALLY if you lose too much oil, oil preasure will drop. but this is not a garuntee... it is the best indicator of oil amount.. but there is no gauge that will say "2.8 qts oil" or anythng like that.. but an oil preasure gauge might let you know if there is any dramatic change..

Not trying to be an ass, but...... your dipstick.

When its full (on the top mark), you have 4Q in the car (or w/e your car can hold). When its at the bottom line, you are 1Q low. Anything below that line, who cares, put oil in the car...

May I ask WHY you want to know the EXACT amount of oil in your car? EDIT: forget it, I saw 'just wondering'.

i think hes just asking.. and in all honesty.. i would not be against a gauge like this IN the car.. but like i said GENERALLY oil pres will tell you the same.. or at least if there is a problem.. MOST of the time that is..

well to start you need a mechanical preasure isolator unless it came with one.. you will also need braided line that is not supplyed and a T fitting OR oil filter sandwich plate adapter..
