was planning on getting a mits eclipse but everyone keeps telling me theyre s**t. im planning on buying a civic soon so theres some things i want to know.

How good are the stock alternators on them?
What are the wheels with all the spokes on them called? (the ones in like east coast honda meet)
What model should i get? my price range is roughly around 6000 and i want to get the best for my money

The rims with all the spokes could be ls meshes, bbs's, no telling. Alternators are fine on Hondas, I've had four and never had a problem. With a budget of 6000 you're options are pretty open. You're good with most generation civics but personally I would avoid 7th generation (2001-2005 I believe) you can either pick up a cheaper civic and put money into it to build it or just buy a newer stock one. Personally, I like 5th (1992-1995) gens, and 6th gens (1996-2000). But it's your call, do your research and get what you like

buy a 5th or 6th gen with decent body motor doesn't have to be their for about 1500 or less then buy a complete k20 or k24 swap and you will be set.
