I'm new just introducing myself.

Hello all, I'm from idaho drive a 7th gen.
Coupe ex.

I have a couple problems with it, but before I ask for help I'm exploring this site looking to see if anyone else has same issue. Lots to go through..

Been a huge civic fan since my first car a 91 hatchback. Just a s**t d15 that burned more oil than a funny car burned fuel.

Also a Mazda fan. Don't hate, I love the first gen 90/91 mx6. Not the 89 or the 88 though to much heavy rubber.

Anyway I'm here mostly because my 05 is a driving project and I'm looking for as much help as I can get so I don't have to have as big of a headache trouble shooting some things.

Thanks for searching the site first! these cars have been around for 10/15 years so many problems have been figured out and documented already. But new problems always show up and people are quite willing to help if you have trued to figure it out yourself first.
How do you like your 7th gen compared to the 91?

Well my 91 was such a lost cause I can not give a good comparison, I was just 14 when I got it and sold it a year later to buy a stereo.. but so far I like the 7th gen. I like the square body lines vs the rounded lines. The 6th gen though imo is the best looking coupe, the 89/91 civics were the best looking hatches.. but that's just my 2 cents. The problem I'm having with my 7th is I smell fuel it doesn't seem to be leaking anywhere all the hoses seem to be good the cap seals good l. Is there anything else I might have missed? Or do I need to re check any hoses that I might have just over looked? It also has an oil leak but im.still trying to pin point where it's coming from before I get to questions. Thanks.
