Im new to this, but what CAI is the best for a 93 Lx 5-speed

I am 17 currently owning a 93 civic lx single over head of course to go to college im goin to farmingdale, Long Island, but i was looking into a AEM V2 Air induction but its effing 300$, i was wondering if there is any other intake that gives great hp and tq, because so far the V2 has shown me 18 hp and 17tq. additional. Motor isnt quite stock, i placed 1st and 2nd gears in from a 95 SI bubble, i got a B/S SRI lol, prolly gives me a whopping 2hp., and i eliminated the cat. converter being that its an OBD1, my dig is good, but i want to make it better, any help is appreciated and my max spending is approx 300$.

AEM has been around for decades. The reason the V2 is so expensive is because no one has a system like it. You could do a swap for more cash or go turbo, which would cost as much as a brand name intake, header, and exhaust system but net you more power.

Plus side to buying the AEM V2:
Most HP and Torque that you can get out of an intake
Sounds like a stampeding elephant when you WOT it

And the V2 is the best system you can get for your LX.

Any CAI brand will do, go to ebay if you want cheap. Now, if you want LEGAL intake, then go AEM.

lol idk where the piks are im new to this but im dedicating today to figure this stuff out, i got piks of the engine, its kinda ehh but thats y im working on it lol, thanks for the help though and im going legal, i dont want to take chances i get pulled over and cops want to see whats under my hood, thankyou for your help though
