it also depends on how much boost you are goin to be at. bc u can boost on a stock block. not too advised but still do able.

you really need to search around before you think about boost. Not being mean just saying that if you don't know the things you need then kiss your motor good bye

yep^^^^ usually up to 10 psi on a good tune:thumbs up
you think 10psi on a gt35r is gonna be the same as 10psi on a t25? it depends how big the turbo is.

If your gonna do a P&P get a zex turbo cam and a thicker headgasket and some arp headstuds to hold more boost. ive seen 14psi on pumpgas with setups like that =). i myself have headstuds and stock sized hg on a stock y8 i wanna go up to 12psi maybe 14psi if i feel lucky  . wat u have to worry about over 10psi with sohc turbos are that A- the rods are weak and can snap with alot more hp and B- the head likes to lift. i myself have had to retorque the headstuds already on mine and i run arps

y8 = constrictive flow design.. get a z6 head then move down from there... pistons.. then rods... then headgasket.. head studs... stage 2/3 clutch...

if ur gonna do it in steps, i'd say start w/ chipped ecu at least. i've run 2 phearable.net ecus that worked great. then head studs and torque em down 5-10lb more than factory specs. the head gasket actually change it no matter what when u do the mini me. the size hg will depend on how much power u'll be runnin and how responsive you want ur engine. low comp = safer but less responsive slower spool.
