Indecisive: Cometic vs OEM

Im very indecisive right now on what headgasket i want to buy. ive read plenty of posts that say oem is good enough for most and others that say oem pops after a couple of months (sorta like mine). at first i really wanted cometic so that im confident my hg wont blow, but then im on a really tight budget and since i found out y8 hg's fit z6's im like wow 20$ and im good. i also need a timing belt and waterpump (its about that time) and arp headstuds (why not? im already in there). so its basically peace of mind vs budget.

go OEM unless you are looking for a custom thickness to achieve a desired compression ratio

yeah and that is basically my plan. ill have to show you my setup one day... if azht ever has another meet in tucson

so what if you have a d15b7 and cant get headstuds? whats wrong with those felpro , beck etc. gaskets that are out there?
