Injen Short Ram Install 98 LX

How else would I install this short ram, this looks really wack.

If i take that box off too how would I adapt the oxygen sensors,
i don't have the intake manifold that shoots off to the left it goes out from the top into that box,

dude!!! you suppose to take off the factory air filter box too... then attach the pipe to the TB...p.s. that is wack!!!

you have the wrong intake there buddy, thats for a horizontal tb, like an ex. not the vertical one on ur lx.

ya my friend crashed his and gave it to me
but he had it on wack too
so there is one that feed vertical into the intake manifold
or i mean replacing the intake manifold would be cool too.

howd you place it then i tried to take the box off and it wouldnt fit cuz it is the wrong one

If you don't feel like spending more money on the right intake, spend a few bucks and get tubing of the same size with that bend in it, get another connector and two more clamps. Or, you could leave it as is...

you could leave your intake on like that, just remove the filter from the stock air box and use the filter on the end of your piping, should have the same effect

I wonder how much restriction you are getting with 2 filters! Yeah, I would just remove the stock filter and you should have the same effect. Didn't Injen provide you with instructions? They did when I got mine.

i took the first air filter out because i knew there would have been air flow problems
so it's all cosmetic

its a 2nd gen hand me down

All I can say is that I have seen worse. Least he didnt run the pipe down and drill a hole in his front bumper and stick the pipe out there. Thats what my bro did and I disowned him for it lol lol
