i put sony's in my rear speaker slots and just used the stock cable and it sounds great. so you should be able to but if you replaced them that wouldnt be bad either but just more money to spend.

if not Metra makes a quick change harness thats like $8 and beats the hell out of cutting and splicing, plus its easier to [ut your stock speakers back in if need be

almost any 6x9 speaker should slide rite in, and its recommended that you get the hardness it will make the job even easier

man, looks like the end of the world with you. Your problem is really not a problem! just slide-in your speakers then test it. no more questions ask! 8)

EZ. Buy the harness. either crimp or solder the harness to the speaker wire and snap it into the stock harness. Sounds like you're being over cautious. Just do it and you'll see why it isn't so hard.

theres clips on the inside of the hood. look inside the hood and you will see em. i took my rear panel without taking out the side panels and it sucked balls cause you have to bend it and put pressure on it. if you take out the side panels it will be a lot easier....however the whole job took me about 1 hour. i didnt buy a harness for the speakers...i just cut the harness out of the stock cables so i would have bare wire and connected them to the speakers...really simple....oh...if you dont take out the side panel....youll prob break a clip or so from the rear panel but thats ok...i did but its no biggie.

EDIT: i meant trunk not hood.

yeah, just look around. they're pretty obvious which ones hold down the covers.
i mean... even i could figure it out without a diagram.
