Installing Halo Projector headlights on 96 Civic

Hey guys!

I just purchased a new headlight assembly for my 96 Honda Civic. These ones to be exact

I am just wondering if I would need anything else when installing these? Do they just plug right in with the same plugs or am I going to need some sort of adapter kit. I can't seem to find an answer about the LED's at the bottom and how they wire in. Also, I have read some things about sealing the headlights Is this important?. How about testing the lights? Should I always have the negative power cable removed from the battery? The actual removal of the bumper and headlight assembly itself looks pretty easy but I don't want to get stuck needing some other parts I don't know about.

Thanks!

they shud plug n play but the leds =white is power black is ground...find the power and ground wire on your stock harness( use a volt meter plz) and wire them according to how u want them to work with the drivin lights on or with your signal/city light check out a diagram for ur car and go from there

Thanks for the info! Does the light output really suck on these? My old ones were really foggy and I could barely see anything. I was hoping these would be nice and bright

plug n play vs retro fitting the first one always has less quality well most of the time there are companies that do make very goof quality aftermarket setups

Usually, from what I've seen, most, if not all, aftermarket projector headlights have poor light output quality. And with my experience with aftermarket headlights (OE replacement, not projector), they aren't sealed well and eventually fog up.

I spent a little over $300 for my entire retrofit setup and couldn't be happier. Keep refreshing my post to see one of my rotating sigs showing my cut off. You won't get that with aftermarket projector headlights.

As others said simple plug and play. You can now invest in a hid kit. I did not care about doing a retrofir myself. Not to mention it would mean finding new lights to retrofit. I wish their were more options than halo lights myself. If your wiring is like mine the halo portion is not p&p. Have chosen not to hook up halo because of this even though have wire ran so it would not take more than 5 mins to finish. The light quality will not be great with lights from the kit most likely however you can upgrade your lights if you did not want to go hids. Silverstar is a good brand i have used in the past.

The headlights output sucks. They don't really hold up well, after like a year the clear cracks and falls off., then they start to yellow, and youll have to plastx them every month to keep them clear. Mine have never leaked, they arent the civic model, but same company.

I had simular headlight they sucked halos went out three times in 2 month period the light output does decrease. But like everyone else said they are plug and play most of the time they give you a clip on electrial connector for the halo wiring
