I got a pair of window visors from Password JDM on sale, and they arrived today. Just wanted to see how they install. I'm sure I could figure it out, but I wanted to make sure before I dove into installing them.

Any how-to's or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Flame suit on.

The ones I got from password jdm came with 10 clips. and there were 10 holes with 10 screws, so I was assuming they got clipped on. eventually figured it out and got them on.

Sticky ones = fake.

Authentic Honda ones clip in place.

You have to pull the rubber weather stripping off the track of the door frame. Each door has 5 clips, 2 bolt in, 3 free hang.

The 2 that bolt in are on the edges. They have those tiny tiny screws that screw them into place near the upper corner and near the mirror. The other 3 are like weird ass J bends that you slide up into the notch, then put the weather stripping back over and it holds them in.

Then with weather stripping fully back in place, you put the visor up against the 5 brackets, and it has those little black plastic push pins. Push through hole on visor, which should be lined up with hole on bracket, add pressure, it mushrooms out at end and holds in place.

I'm not saying this counts for the ones for the Civics, but I used to hear complaints abotu the sticky visors because some were known to fly off of cars when the car hit highway speeds.

I didn't rock the sticky ones. The ones I bought were from password jdm and came with all the hardware hatch of doom described. it's fairly easy, one you look at it and get the weather stripping out of the way1

I didnt cut thru the weather seal

Once you get 1 bracket in you start getting the hang of it.

It's all in the preparation. I had the Ventshades ones on my Grand Cherokee.. They just stuck to the window rubber.. Had them on six years, sold it a year ago, and they're still holding strong...

well it's super rare i post pictures of my car here. the reason being it's not 100% jdm with rota wheels, same front lip, same tail lights and head lights as everybody else. but i'll post a picture of the vents and antenna block off.

ps. yes that is a tach, so if your going to bash it, just keep your mouth shut! =)
