Insturments light and cluster

I have a 97 civic EK and i just put in side markers and now i have no cluster and climate control lights. The fuse under the hood is good but the one under the steering wheel #30 7.5 amp keeps popping everytime i turn the switch. All my lights work. It never done this when i installed the side markers. I took off the side markers and the fuse still pops. Dont know what to do.

Try unplugging the dimmer switch, and see if it still blows. If it does, replace the switch.

If not, look closely for lose or exposed wires. You may very well have a bare wire somewhere, that pops the fuse whenever it touches metal.
