intake help.

i need help with my air intake, here is the problem its all istalled o.k. but i dont know how the support bracket is supposed to go. anyone have pics or refrence page?

I'm not sure about that one specifically, but most mount to a bolt on the shock tower where the old air box mounted. Heres my AEM on my DX:

yea I have the same prob, but insted of short ram intake i have a CAI, Ray Ray when you get it on tell me ok becuse mybe I will get my hoked up

I just realized that my pic doesn't really show the mounting point. It's actually on the side of the shock mount sheet metal. The old intake tube used to mount there. I would say just use whichever bracket will reach a bolt and use that.

you put the hose clamp on the filter over the L part and connect the other side of the bracket to somewhere on the wheel well

yeah but where on the wheel well i dont want to drill holes in car. its on fine but when the cat heats up it slumps down a little.

just connect it where the stock airbox used to be held.

i didnt have no lbracket on my civic even though it came with one ... i just slapped that s**t in there, and had a hose clamp holding it to the throttle body and an extra one holding the rubber s**t to the pipe.

thanks melt. Naw mang it pissing me off to, I need it on there cause it saggs when the car heats up. do you remember what you said about geting the Si exhaust? Well I call a junk yard tiday just for some FYI and the dude told me its agiant the law to sell used exhaust parts. ant that a b***h.

with the intake... i had the same exact problem. there is no where to put the bracket on the intake tube unless you drill it. To my knowlege, AEM has the brackets already welded on. you can basically put the bracket anwhere... but you either have to know how to weld or put a hole in your tube. I just left the brackets off.
