Interchangable parts?

i have a '95 del sol with a d16z6. i was looking around for parts and what not, and im wondering what parts are all interchangable from the civic to a del sol? like if i were to buy a short throw for a civic, it would work in my del sol as well correct? another thing is exhaust. if i bought a full exhaust for a hatchback, would it fit on my del sol? i guess im just wondering if im looking for parts, which civic/civics can i buy parts from? thank you

Most 95 Honda Civic Si Hatchback parts will work. Suspension, Engine, and Brakes. Not sure about exhaust though, but they should be the same.

awesome thanks, so when shopping for after market parts, just look for 95 civc hatch si's? sounds good to me.

can anyone clarify if the hatch exhaust matches up with a del sol?

They should be able to find the parts listed as del Sol Parts.
For US - It is a 95 Honda Civic del Sol.
For Europe (since it says you're in Germany right now) - It is a 95 Honda CRX or CRX del Sol.

And I don't think the exhaust will fit. Both the muffler and the piping are different part numbers. They also look different.

also the lengths of the vehicles may be off by enough to where the hangers would not line up correctly

so just to clarify, i can buy engine, suspension, and brakes from a 95 civic hatch si. so i could order the skunk 2 short shifter from here for a civic and itll fit just fine? sorry about all the noob questions, this is the first honda ive owned, and buying performance parts over here in germany is expensive cuz they have the TUC bull crap. so ill be ordering most my parts online and what not. haha thanks for the help so far.

I along with my friends worked on my 95 civic for some time a few months back. we were able to do the parts change quite easily. however the exhaust i am not quite sure. we changed the suspension and the brakes. the handling of the car increased manifold.
