Intercooler question...

sorry if this is a dumb question but is there any benifit if i hook up an interooler to my intake? has anyone tried it and will i get any boost from it?

nope, an intercooler will do nothing for you without a turbo or a supercharger.

Well we will see, i had a friend with a crazyu idea to hook up an IC and a CO2 chiller to the ic on his NA engoing to cool the intake charge. We will see how it goes. I think he is full of crap, but i wont tell him that

Intercoolers and BOV's are used for boosted motors. Blow off valves release the compressed air into the atmosphere that would normally be routed back towards the turbo causing the turbine to stop very abrubtly. Mostly used for prolonging the life of the turbo itself.
