interior dome light q?

hi everyone! im usually over at clubintegra.com but ive had a problem with my civic.

i have a 97 civic sedan

here's the deal
i open any door, the light doesnt turn on.
i flip the dome light switch from 'door' to 'on' and it works.

ive looked for a dome light or door fuse. nothing... what the heez?!
i guess it would be the dome light itself? maybe a loose connection in that f**ker?

also, has an after market alarm. but i dont think that would cause the problem..

have you checked your door pin? check and see if the door warning comes on in the cluster (if there is one) sometimes that bolt that holds the door pin on can get corroded

You have an aftermarket deck and/or alarm right? There's your problem. There's a fix for it, not sure how it goes... but this question has been asked multiple times. Try searching the website, or even google for the answer.
