Interior lighting

ok, i know i have asked this question befor but i have yet to get an anser and i have already ordered my lights. where can i find the wire to tap into so that my leds turn on when the car doors r opened? im going to have my lights on constant and door open power, but i would much rather only take my car apart once for this project. someone has to know and i cant find any answers anywhere, any help would b super appreciated

tap into the interior dome lights. get yourself a haynes manual so you can look at the wire diagram to figure out which power wire you need. now to have power at any time you need to wire in a switch. do you want to be able to have power even when the keys arent in the ignition? if so you need a constant hot wire tap, otherwise tap into the acc wire and they will only work when the key is turned but the engine doesnt have to be on.

haha ur just posting on all my threads arent u, thanks for the help man, ya i want them to be able to come on when the key is not in the ignition. do u know of any good taps? what ozium suggested i do is just wire it right to the batter, the only thing is i didnt really want to wire a 18awg to the batter cuz it would look kinda tacky. was thinking about just tapping my power wire to my amp although i dont wanna do a t tap and i dont think they make a tap big enuff for a 8awg to a 18awg lol any suggestions?

if you want it on when your key is in the ignition only splice into the cigg lighter.
if you want it to turn on when your doors open or with out the key splice the dome light.
i also ordered from oznium love their lights just do what i did
custom your map light and dome light with lED's that are spliced to your dome light. if you splice both the wires it will only turn on when you open the doors but if you splice into just one (i forgot what color it was) and ground the neg you can controll it with a switch with out the key.
than wire some foot lights to your cigg lighter and a mini switch. i used the 5mm white but im about to upgrade to the super flaux 4 chip for all of them.
