Just got done with the motor swap now time to move on to something else ....the interior ...got my civic n 08 and the interior was fairly straight but however the former car owners owned a cat nd he had a field day on the sunroof cover...which brings up the question what material on the interior part of the sunroof cover as well as the exterior

You need some head liner material.
Any fabric store should have it and buy some spray adhesive at auto zone, advance or any car parts around ur area.
Cant remember exactly how we did my kids but I think we remove the glass from the top just a couple of screws and you shold b able to remove the inner panel, not %100 sure, I can look at my 96DX and see how to remove it.
make sure you remove all the old material from the panel

yeah i agree with you my brother had the same problem. you dont have to take off the glass theres a way to take off just that piece with a little screws here and there but yeah just go to a fabric store and get matching material and go from there

if you get adhesive, use what the upholstery shops use, its meant for high heat stress, thats what i have to use on door panels when i install leather, normal on the shelf stuff usually releases after a while
