Interior re-cover

I've been thinking for a while now about re-covering different stuff in my car, door panels, headliner, A-pillars, etc. I definitely want something unique, like some crazy plaid or something. I'm just running low on Ideas. I'm thinking some DC shoes fabric, to match my Wink mirror that has DC stickers on the front. I can't find any fabric like that though. If you know of some good sites with lots of unique fabrics, please post it.

Post some pics of your own headliner swaps, or some fabric types that might look good and help me figure out what I want before I tear my headliner to pieces trying new stuff.

That looks really good, but only a step up from stock in my opinion. I want something a little wild, but not stupid. I'm pretty sure I want some kind of endless repeating pattern or some crazy color. I just found some insane Recaro fabric I'm thinking would fit the job.

I have no idea where to post a question on this board, so here goes:

I bought and am the original owner of an early-production 2006 Civic LX sedan now with 30,000 miles. Always garaged, and almost always driven in town in good weather. No body or interior damage, never in a flood.

Suddenly, the headliner has just separated and is hanging although still attached on the edges and around the hangdles and light. WHY did this fail?

How/where to fix it? (My zip is 33477 - Jupiter, FL) Of course, my dealer, Ed Morse Honda of Riveira Beach FL 33404 has "never heard of any such failures" and the repair will cost about "$800". I could really use some good advice about now.

If many such failures are known, I could go to Honda USA and... Any ideas? Thank you.

OblivionEK: THAT RECARO FABRIC IS SIIIIICCCCCKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stick with that, i can't even fathom how legit that would look on a headliner. I wouldn't suggest covering your pillars and such, instead just spray them with paint instead, your get better results[

lol, thread jacking is classy, it can happen because the glue just gets old, but being a 2006 its unlikely. could just be a lemon. in general repairing a roof is easy. just remove the surrounding trim and the roof will drop out and you can strip off the old fabric and cover it with whatever new fabric you want.

also, go read the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" section lol.
