Hello, I was just wondering for peoples opinions on eclipse and kicker for their 6.5" speakers...all 4 of my sonys blew in my del sol and I wanted to upgrade, I was thinking of doing the kickers behind the seats, then the eclipse for the doors...Mainly just wondering if you guys think they are better then the sonys

Well I am going through crutchfield, and i have a choice between sound ordinance, kicker, eclipse, sony, pionees, or kenwood....well thats all that fit in my price range, as I dont want to spend more then 150 on speakers, and I want new ones, not used
I wouldn't get either.
First it depends on how much you wanna spend and how much you actually like music.
If you're looking for something inexpensive, pretty much any entry level stuff from a well-known company will do like infinity, mb quart, phoenix gold, jbl, polk audio, etc.
I'd recommend getting an amp (even a small one) and a half decent pair of component speakers for the front. You can probably get everything you need for around 300 or less if you look for used... and it'll sound good.
