Interior Trouble

hey everyone i just brought a project car 1999 civic lx 4dr. yesterday i started cleaning the inside took out the seats and clean the carpet and some dash parts. i noticed that the rear passenger side carpet was wet i dont know why. so i just forgot about it. then when i checked it today it was still wet what could this be.

What is the condition of the windows and weather stripping.?
Condition iof winshield seal?
Is the front passenger floorboard wet as well or only the back?

1st question - Its water
2nd question - their in pretty good shape imma take another look
3rd question - the windshield seal is in good shape
4th question - only the back passenger side and a little bit under the passenger side seat

the hole back passenger side is not wet its just a patch thats wet

Id say the window if i had to guess.
Get in your car with a flashlight and have somebody else spray the car with a water hose have them take there time and only move a few inches at a time. Check with the flashlight if the window or anything else is leaking if not then its not rain water.

nope their nothing else leaking

i would guess its the weather stripping on the bottem of the door if not that i would get under the car and look for a hole in the floor board.
