Introduction & need help with building up my 95 Civic d16v6

Hey everyone, new to the site.

I was actually just looking for someone who can help me with some upgrades I want to do to my car.

First off this is my first car it's a 95 Civic LX with a swapped 98 DX tranny and a d16vd engine 5spd, stock internals.

I know it's a cheaper turbo but I'm kind of on a budget, I was told that it's not the best quality but it will add some power. With the stock internals I was also told it probably won't help a lot.

Was wondering if anyone could tell me how much hp this turbo would give me, and possibly any other parts I could/should get. I'm not trying to build a super fast car just want some more power.

What is your budget. EBay is hit or miss. This topic can be found answered on here multiple times. In all honest save 2g then decide if you want to turbo. The main factor after a turbo is a tune. Yes you need a tune.

I don't have a set budget but I can pretty much save up whatever I need.

I will search the forums for answers on this, is there anything besides a turbo you could suggest to add some more power? I already plan on doing cold air intake, besides that I don't know what else I can do.

You are wasting money if you are doing a cold air, THEN doing turbo. 1) it won't give you any noticeable gain in power and 2) it is useless when you go turbo as you redo the piping again anyway. Same goes for a header.

On a d-series the only things that are going to give power that is worth a damn is going to be swap, boost, or spray. Everything else is wasting money in my opinion. They were built for gas mileage and it takes a good amount of money to make them produce any bit of worth while power.
