Invidia test pipe?

Has anyone used the invidia test pipe that is supposed to replace the stock cat? I have an exhaust leak where the header meets the cat and the cat is extremely rusted so I was thinking of getting the invidia test pipe on the parts store. And also if you have used it does it throw a CEL from no cat?

Yes, you will have a CEL for no cat and your exhaust will get louder by eliminating the cat. You can buy an O2 sensor simulator to take care of the CEL.

Is there a resonator that you could replace it with that won't need an 02
Simulator? Or what about a high flow cat? I just liked the price for the invidia

a true high flow cat will not throw a cel or need anything else
a test pipe throws a cel because it has no guts what so ever

What's a good high flow cat to run on a 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust with vibrant muffler? Only pushing about 10 psi on a single cam so I'm not looking for crazy power

the only true high flow cat i know of that you dont need the 02 trick and dosent throw a check engine light is magnaflow
