is my car an Si?

Hey guys, first off I'd like to say hello to everyone as im a new member to here.

I recently bought a 1996 Honda Civic, now the engine is replaced and i know its a SOHC 1.6 Vtec so like D16 something?

but my main question is where can I find out the model? theres an SI on the back of the car but it could of been glued.

The car has the following - Sun roof, Cruise, 5 speed, power doors, power locks, original Spoiler.

Any help would be great guys, ill get some pictures up once I clean her up a bit !

thank you for answering but can you tell me how you know? like what does the SI have that the ex doesnt? i know its not like the Si engine but is it the SI body?

I am in Canada yes, but my VIN says manufactored in US

But anyways yeah i read that, which is alright because ill be the first of all my friends with a canadian SI haha. thanks guys

it was probably manufactured in the US and exported to canada. our Si (your Sir) only happened 99-00
