Is this a good buy?

First off I want to apologize, I have no clue where I should have posted this topic so yeah. If there's a section for this somewhere else and I overlooked it, can a mod please move this? Thank you.

Alright, well on to the point. I've been looking for a car for a while and I found a GSR sedan for sale on auto trader and it's near my area. I've been looking for a total of 6 months (and counting!) and throughout this whole time, I've seen this car up on the site. I'm still a n00bie when it comes to Honda's (and cars in general) so I just want to get some of your guys opinions on this car, if it's a good buy or not. I'm not sure why it hasn't been sold yet so I just want you guys to take a look at what pics he has up and give your opinion on if it's a good deal or not and if I'm paying for what I want to get, a GSR (If it's not, then I saw a nice '00 SI for sale near me too ). I know it might not be much so if you guys can't really tell me much from the pics then don't sweat it.

::Edit:: I forgot to add, this is what made me question it in the first place is that he listed LS- VTEC on there. Is that right? If I wanted an LS I'd get one but I want a GSR...

looks like whoever owned it loved it. I would think it should be in good condition but you need to test drive it and check it out. If you dont know what to look for bring somone with you.

yeah i would say bring a good mechanic with you. you really don't know what you're gonna get if you buy someone else's ls-vtec (i don't even know if it is, i don't know how to tell just by looking at it). but the body seems to be in good condition. how much is he selling it for?

Yeah, it looks to be in great condition, that's why I've always been eyeing since I saw it. The owner is selling it for $9500 and it sounds like a good deal to me, just really need to see it now before making any decision.

if you can talk him down a little, do so. maybe 8700 or 8500 because that thing is clean and will prolly end up selling for that much to someone. if you get to see it in person, check the stamp on the block.

werd. it is really clean and i like the rims. if it's an ls vtec, he probably ran it kinda hard so def have a good mechanic go with u
