I was looking through this weeks ad and I found out that this deck is going for $134.99 (save $65) instead $199.99 at the store. Anyways, I was wondering if the specs and the product itself is worth the money and if there are better places(besides ebay) to get a deck. Thanks for the help.

I'm not a pioneer but I think for a decent price thats not a bad deck, I cant really talk because the only head unit I've ever bought was 600 retail but I get hooked up so I didnt pay that....

bro, that is a great deal for that deck. you'll be happy with that one. pioneer makes some decent decks and by the looks of it, that is a deal and a half.

i got a pioneer deph-3600 and im completely happy with it.

i have a DEH-P8500MP dual motorized face cd/mp3/wma player.... it does the job, the mp3 player is nice, and it has audio inputs so i can control my screen and dvd player with it.
but honestly i'm not a pioneer fan, i'll be replacing when i find another mp3 player with audio inputs
of course i didnt pay for this deck... so i cant really complain too much

i've always been happy with my pioneer deck, they make decent stuff and its a great deal, i've had this deck in 2 cars and 0 problems with it

ive got a pioneer deck. i f**king love it, it has mad equalizer options and its an mp3 player which i think is the best feature. 100+ songs on 1 cd. i got mine for $179 at BestBuy installed. so thats a great deal

I have the same deck. It was good 2 years ago when i first got it. Not a bad first head unit but there is alot better now a days. The thing i'm looking hard at is a dvd unit which cost alot less than a couple of years ago. The Panasonic CQ-VD7500U, about 1200 at sounddomain.

i got the deck for free, my clarion was a much nicer deck... but didnt play mp3's.
i havent payed for a deck... well since like 97. since i own 2 car dealerships i just wait till we get a car with a nicer deck then my current one, or one with more features... then swap it out
i wouldnt buy from sound domain or cardomain if i were you.... i've had HORRIBLE luck with them.
i just use my modded xbox for my dvd player, it works out perfect for me

Pioneer builds their decks like tanks. I rarely hear problems or have anyone come in with a bad one for service. I have an older Pioneer Premier deck and its been in four differant cars. Love it!!!

i have an old ass pioneer.. and it hasnt failed yet. its a POS, and on its last legs... but its still going. gonna get replaced this summer hopefully by a nice apline.

I never was a Pioneer fan but that was because the controls on their older units are so tiny and confusing. They would have the tiniest buttons that say "EUT" or something real vague like that.

That particular model looks much better than Pioneer used to.
