is this everything needed for a homemade turbo kit?

-injectors
-intercooler
-Oil line kit
-Engine management
-boost gauge
-EGT gauge (not necesary, but good peace of mind)
-boost controller
- O2 bungs for the downpipe
-custom downpipe
-custom intercooler pipes
-Blow Off Valve
-Turbo Timer (not needed, but extends the life of the turbo)
-colder spark plugs
-a good turbo manifold

what am i missing and what do i need to know before i start making the kit?

also where is a good place to get the Oil line kit, and all the piping?

i also wanted to know if i will need to do any cutting if i want to put a front mount on my car(em1)? i know you have to do that for 5th gen civics but i don't know about 6th gens.

Yeah you will more then likely have to cut some and maybe loss the fogs lights if you have them. And turbo times dont extent the life of anything....just waste you money.

turbo timers do help, the allow oil to flow through the turbo, so hot oil dosent "coke" inside the bearing housing.
not a waste of money too me.

you dont NEED colder plugs unless your pushing lots of boost, you wont know if you have everything till you start putting it all on.

youll need a wastegate if your turbo isnt internally gated. youll also need some vacuum lines and t-fittings unless you have a vacuum manifold... might want to think about getting a new fuel pump.

fuel pump isnt always necessary either.
all depends on how much power your runnign

i am planning on getting an internally gated turbo and my goal is to have 280-300 whp. would obx cams be good with a turbo car? if they are not good for a turbo car which ones are?

injector clips and resistor box are also unecessary. i wouldnt use obx cams though. what engine do you have?

i have a b16a2 (with less than 3000 miles on it).

this is a list of everything i will do with the turbo kit.
cams
injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
hondata s200 with the turbo option thing.
i already have a xtd stage 2 clutch and 8lbs flywheel on the car (the clutch has less than 3000 miles)

another thing i was thinking was if i am going to do so much work it would be better to get something that would add more power. i don't want to do so much work and only get like 10whp.

i dont know where you heard itr cams arent good with boost. they are the best along with ctr coming in 2nd and gsr 3rd

hmm. i heard GSR are best with boost, ITR and CTR are best with NA.

tubo timer is a waste, unles you boost into your driveway, and immediatly turn the car off. just drive in vac for bit before you get where your going.
