Alright here is the auction for .OEM 96-98 fog lights . Are these actually a direct fit? Just really want to make sure before I buy them. Thanks!

Well since you dont have the grooves in the sides of your bumper like the 99-00 civics, I dont see why they wouldnt direct fit...good luck

so if those lights you see on ebay are made to fit where the oem fogs go then yes they are a direct fit. The only thin gim not sure about is that if there are any differences between your usdm bumper and the jdm civic type r bumper. Because the ebay lights are from a civic type r or so it says
I beleive the USDM fogs are round vs the JDM squarish ones. If I did do the fogs, I would want the square ones, but that would require more cutting of the bumper.

its direct fit...there should be lil marks for drilling on the inside of the front bumper//

also, the link to the ebay auction for the 96-98 fogs, if you read, they are not OEM, if you read, it says, oem style and type r style. i dont think it even mention what brand or who makes it.
