I was reading around and saw some thing about GSR cams being best for turbo and ITR's being a no no, i know GSR's are better for Turboing but i wont have the money after the turbo and i dont feel like putting my stock ones back in. So is it that big of a deal that i have ITR cams and am going turbo will i lose power or what. If it is that big of a deal i guess i will just get some GSR cams but i would rather not. So any help would be nice.

you will lose power with itr cams. depending on which turbo you get, if its a very good flowing one with a high a/r, you will have blowby- turbo boost being blown out the open exhaust valve during overlap. or if you get a smaller turbo, you will have reversion- the pressure in the manifold is greater than that of the combustion chamber, so during overlap hot exhaust gases will flow back into the combustion chamber, hurting power and heating the chamber, contirbuting to detonation. if you absolutely have to keep the cams (im sure you can easily find someone willing to trade straight up, or trade plus cash for some gsr's and you can make a few bucks) get adjustable cam gears and adjust them to reduce the overlap.
