Let me start off by saying I have a 93' coupe dx with non vtec d series replacement engine with existing AC problem when purchased used in 09'. My AC blows cold air sometimes and sometimes it won't it's been converted to r134a and my 1st charge went well the 2nd charge at my old employer jiffylube it started bubbling at the end of the charge. Took it to a local Honda aftermarket shop they said lines were freezing and need new lines. I don't know about this one help me stay cool please!!!

What lines were freezing? Or did you mean the evaporator was freezing? Did they say what was causing this?

Coolant was bubbling from the line at the a/c hook-up. And the shop couldn't tell me much other than the lines were freezing so I don't know what to do.

The bubbling was a leak at the valve. Did you finish charging the system with the proper weight of refrigerant and cap the valve? Does the A/C still blow cold at least once in a while?
