Is anyone running a supercharger on a single cam?If so how does it feel and do you like it?

please stop the arguing.. and yes.. im going to move this to engine tech.. because that makes the most sense.. AND i actually considered it.. but it was too expensive.. = )

too expensive for horrible gains in power. the manufacturer claims 140 whp out of a d16z6, which is DISMAL given a $3000+ investment. thats less whp than many stock b16's put down, and usually manufacturer's claims are.. umm.. overexaggerated, to say the least. for 3000 bucks, you could easily have a new, custom made turbo kit putting down 200 whp.

Apparently from what I heard it feels good throughout the powerband but it isn't as strong as a Turbo. Like someone else said as for your investment, it truely isn't worth it.

I think it's a good mod but not very cost effective, I think they are more like $1800 though now arent they which is a lot better but still expensive

its a waste to spend that much money to give a single cam 150hp tops.. like everyone else said u can get a turbo and push alot more cheaper.. altought i did see a single cam with a 8lb pulley that was tearing some cars up...

i used to have one and it felt fast at the time cause i used to drive a vx, but really it was slow

See, again ! Nobody ever sees anything but peak numbers. Check out how linear the powerband is on the JRSC sometime and look at what rpm it gets over the stock's powerband. The Jackson Racing Supercharger is not a bad addition. On a street car it's actually pretty good. You can just floor it off idle and it'll be pulling pretty good by 2krpm. Now on the track, you are going to get owned by the turbo because he'll have time at the light to spool it up but it doesn't mean your street car won't be fun all the time.

with 3000 get your self an ls integra swap 141hp and money to spare for bolt ons,

mine was a 1.6 sohc vtec... its slow. i used to get beat by another hatch that had the same mods except he had a ported head w/o a jrsc
