JB Weld on Calipers? other?

I changed my brake pads and cleaned everything up and bought some high temp caliper paint (blue) and engine high temp clear coat. However, I want to add the word HONDA across each caliper with these decals I got made at a custom graphics shop. I've read to do the caliper paint, then decals, then clear coat.
Anyway, the calipers don't have the nicest spot on the side to put the decal since the 6th gen calipers have that stupid small notch in the middle side of the caliper (if you know where I mean, u can look on urs if they r stock). The lettering would look weird and.uneven.
My question is, since that little cutout is so small can't I fill it with something like jb weld or some kind of temprresistant body filler and smooth it out then paint? What should I use? I'd like that surface for the decal to be nice and rounded with the rest of the side of the calipers.

I honestly would not modify your calipers anywhere beyond paint.

It's probably fine but I don't think that a decal is going to hold up very well, clear coat or not.

The small area inside the blue square is where I would put it, you can see what I mean about there not being a good spot for a 4" decal on the side without doing this. Everyone else's calipers all have that smooth side (other generations and what not). My main concern is if the metal epoxy would fail like fall off/rattle off one day. But then again what harm would it do other than I'll have to rethink the decal with that notch present again and repaint a little
P.s. this is not my vehicle but same caliper.
