Yeah, i want a 6th gen Hatch... How hard is it going to be to put a b18c5 in that b***h? I've heard it isnt much, practically a "bolt in" modification. New mounts and thats about it? Will my existing exhuast system match up with the new engine? what all will i have to change?

its everything you just said pretty much minus all the few details and your old exhaust system will not work. not quite sure but i think when you buy the whole engine it comes with that... i think, not 100% sure

i wont need anything for the tranny though? And about the exhaust... i wont be able to buy a bolt up kit any more? Or would i be able to get the bolt up kit for the integra, and just move the mounts under my car?

the tranny should come with the engine... and if you have an auto rightnow, your going to need to do the conversion (like adding the pedal and some other junk) if you wanted to... you could just buy an aftermarket exhaust ... not to sure about the integra exhaust system fittin on civics, i dont think that they are 100% bolt up ... you can for sure do it with minor mods.

I know they come with a tranny... i was making sure both cars had hydro, so i wont have to do a conversion. and as for the exhuast im sure i can just relocate the mounts... if i would even need to.

if you buy a swap from a reputable company like hmotorsonline.com you will get everything you need to bolt in the engine and have it up and running and they have great prices. other places may advertise lower prices, but they dont come with all the little crap you need. and yeah, get a new exhaust, that swap will run like crap with the stock exhaust in place because it is so small. and make sure you buy an engine that is the correct OBD generation for your car.

same block.. the JDM runs at a higher compression ratio than the USDM i think its 11.0:1 for JDM and 10.6:1 for USDM

As for the exhaust... i would like a GReddy Bolt up kit...
So how do i work this? Get the kit for the integra and cut some of it off? Or get the kit for the hatch, and have it bent?

So youre saying to buy the exhaust system made for the ITR... then bolt it up to my hatch. Move the mounts if i need to, and cut the exhaust if it sticks too far out?

actually justin pointed out a VERY valid piont

you want the CTR engine or the ITR engine, because NEITHER ARE THE SAME, even when you compare them as JDM vs USDM, niether of them are the same

your looking at a B18C5 (USDM) B18Cr (JDM) and just B16B (JDM ONLY)

so please clarify if you will

as far as exhaust goes, just get a custom catback and get the muffler seperate.

im guessing it may be the b18cr.... because i want a b18c5... but they have a JDM b18c5, and a USDM b18c5. so if youre saying there is no JDM b18c5, then it must actually be a b18cr... if any of that made sense

well...as far as i can remember, the jdm blocks dont have the last number on the engine code. im pretty sure the b18c5 just came in the usdm model though

Well, I was looking at buying from honda motors online... thats where everyone refered me too. And they have the B18C5.
Two versions (JDM) 11.0:1 and (USDM) 10.6:1. So, I have no clue.
