Jerky in 1st & 2nd when cold

Hey guys.

When I first start up my car while it's cold, if I attempt to drive it right away or almost right away, it will have a jerky acceleration in first and second gear. It's a 1999 Civic Lx. D16y7, but has the z6 ECU (maybe this has something to do with it?) because I'm going to be doing a head swap to the z6 pretty soon here.

Any ideas? Thanks guy.

The Z6 ECU is most likely the cause. Reinstall the original ECU. Put in the Z6 ECU after the head swap is completed.

I also shortened your title so the whole thing is visible.

The swap will more than likely happen within the next couple of weeks anyway. However, swapping an ECU isn't exactly hard. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the shortened title.
