Anyone know of any websites that sell Jackson Racing superchargers at a decent price? I'm looking for one for my RSX and there's not really any shops where I live that won't try to rip me off.

Thanks for the input but if I do end up keeping my car I'm getting a JRSC. I've wanted one for a long time and that's what I was planning on getting before I even got my car and they came out. To each their own though...

yea your right, but seriously look around at the JR website and they got dynos there for quite a few engines. Vortech is known for higher gains.

DONT GET ONE, DONT GET A WORTECH EITHER!!!!!!!! seriously, this may sound like bandwagonish or something, but go turbo. youll have so much more power, tuning ability, tweekability, and more fun.

you can buy a hks turbo kit for the type s
is your car a type s I have a black type s and have looked into buying a turbo...like i said hks makes one and that is the one i would go with if the car wasnt on a lease.. check into that.... im thinking of going with the wrx sti next summer when i have to trade it in.... much faster

also have you had any trany problems with your rsx? I blew the second gear syncro out of mine.. They said it was a recall!!

The super charger is a lot simpler, and for many people that's important. Turbo is a lot of work to get set up, and needs cosntant tuning. The super charger is more of a plug and play type of deal. They add 40 - 50 whp, which is a sizable gain. And you can always up the boost by getting overdriven pully's. I personally am going the turbo route, because I desire high amounts of boost which arn't atainable with the super charger.

You should check ebay for some prices. They go for pretty reasonable amounts every now and then.

I am hoping the prices for JRSC will go down as time goes by. I have to find a hook up

yeah, thats because vortech is a dyno queen.....sure, at 10 psi on a civic si it will produce 277 to the wheels.....but that is only for 500 rpm. look at a dyno graph for a vortech and you will see what i mean.
the jackson and the vortech will produce similiar quarter mile times assuming the boost is the same.
i own a vortech supercharged civic si so i do know a little about the kit:lol:

How much boost do you run with the vortech? How much can you safely run with it?
