Just a couple opinions wanted.

Alright, I know that its my car and do what I want, but theres been a couple things driving me nuts lately thatd Id like some opinions about:

1) Mudguards, yes or no? Why?

2) Centercaps, yes or no? I was planning on going with the oem SI ones, but if you have ones that you think will look better, let me know. Once again, explain your reasoning.

Why?

Its a functional "mod/addition" and it'll help keep s**t from getting kicked up and damaging your paint, whether it be rocks, bugs, road grim, tar, burnt rubber... they help keep s**t off your paint and protect it.

Center Caps

Meh

Why?

Off colored center-caps look funny, and generally the "aftermarket" center caps provided look worse. So id just go without um.

I think its going to be tough to find ones matching the bronze, but thats why I was saying maybe the OEM si to match the polished lip?

Heres what im going for, front mudflaps (since I too think the back are too "gawdy" / noticeable) with a rear lip. I guess the only undecided thing is the centercaps...

They are "royal bronze" with a polished lip, 16"

those front only mudflaps look silly on that blue si, if you have painted sideskirts and a rear lip dont put mud flaps, and yes center caps would look good, i think rims look "incomplete" without centercaps

Centercaps = Yea, think it'll give the wheels a more "completed" look as opposed to without them looks like your missing something or they're spare wheels thrown on

I'd say no mud gards and yes to Si center caps. I just dont like the look of mudguards, I makes the car look more normal and I like my car to express me, if you really know me, I'm far from normal, lol. I just got my Si wheels on, and I really like the Si caps because it gives the car some extra bling, bling that I've personally never had before in center caps.

Yeah see, for some reason, I like the mudflaps on the front. It almost makes the car look more aggressive or something.

yes to mudguards...i think like you said it adds aggressivity to the car...and hell yes on center caps...rims look like they have a big hole in the middle...kinda like steelies look in the middle.
