Just bought a civic off of some kid..

2000 ex , the car was a swap from auto to manuel. The engine is stamped D15B the ecu on the car is a p2p a92 , for whatever reason theres two vtec solonoids.. Theres electrical tape holding the pink & green vtecs wire together merging into the green vtec wire. The car is very slow.

I reved it up to 6k it doesnt feel any different? or is it cause of the p2p a92 ecu??

D series VTEC isn't very obvious. Also the engine needs to be under load and properly warmed up for the ECU to kick VTEC off, as I understand it.
