just bought a d16z6 turbo. its my first, need some advise.

I've owned many Hondas in the past this is the first turbo I've owned. 440cc rc injectors, wal255 fp, and I think a b18 fuel rail. B18 throttle body, y8cam&intmani . 3barmap, type r Tec solenoid. Jdm zc tranny. Banks turbo. Turbosmart waste gate.stage 3 6 puk clutch. The car is running lean as hell I can smell the fuel. Is it because of the stock d16 fuel pressure regulator? Its open down pipe atm and smokin like crazy. The guy I bought it from did say it needs to be tuned. Not leaking any oil. Seems like a pretty good setup to me but I lack the experience with the turbo . Any suggestions would reall y be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Do you mean rich as hell? Since you smell fuel....

Get it tuned. Don't even drive it unless it's not, or you risk blowing it up. What ECU? Is it already chipped?

Honestly I would never buy a car with issues like that....

Yes I ment rich, chipped and tuned p28. Bought it for 800only 120k miles

Would a stock fpr cause it to run soo damn rich??
Tune up is one of the first things on the todo list,I bought it knowing that

No you should be able to run the stock FPR. For most cases. Get it tuned first, it's dumping fuel because it's not tuned. Don't use it / hit boost until you get it properly tuned. That could be a steal for $800. Drive on it untuned it could become a nightmare
