Just Dropped Her Off... (56k No No)

My last post said I was going to paint my car and that I was in the process, well today I dropped "moo" off for paint and bodywork. She's been long overdue & I'm gonna show you guys the pain she and I have been in for alittle over a year... Be warned, the follow pictures contain content that may be damaging to a young ricers mind, please I ask that you do not scroll down if you are faint hearted....

The "Good" side of "Moo", this is practically the only side without a dent or scratch.

This nice little scratch happen before I got the car, it was originally my moms and then in 2000 it was given to me when she got a Jetta.

Small scratch on the drivers side door.

NOW IT GETS BETTER!

This is my driver's side quarter panel, this happened about 6 months ago, I was at the local baseball park with my girlfriend to watch her little brother play little league and Im guessing someone backed into me. I never saw who it was and my alarm never went off so I was f**ked.

This is a good one, this one happen when my mom still had the car, she says truck hit her, but I speculate she nailed this tree at her job and has just been covering up for it.

Now for the Coup De Grace, Moo's hood...

I don't know what went wrong there, Im guessing they did a horrible job when they prepped the hood for paint from a crash I had at 17. Its seriously an eye sore and Im glad that all this s**t is FINALLY getting taken care of.

NOW, for some nice pics..

Type R Style Front and Rear Lip Kit that will be prepped, primed, and painted to match the color of my car.

AND, this is something that arrived today in the mail, sorry for the shitty Phone Cam pic but it was the only thing I had at the moment.

Hopefully, I will install these as soon as I get my car back..

I will post more pics once the car is done.

Same color, Im debating on getting bronze rims or machined, Im not sure yet, but new shoes are in the future.

Paint and all bodywork is getting done for $1200. My uncle has hooked me up he works for a body shop down in Homestead , Florida. What I didn't know is that they use Azko Nobel Sikkens paint so I guess thats a plus, I heard alot of good things about that particular brand all across these and other forums.

u heard good things on hear about sikkens? man i need to find some of thema nd see what they say.. Im from PA and workina porsche audi, vw dealership were we USED to use ppg but bc of some political bullshit with r paint reps we go switched to sikkes... IMO it is s**t sooo over priced. it gives nooo room for error whatso ever... dyes back horribley when u sand and buff it... anyway i am very surprised u heard that... but hey ur uncle might no certina tings about the product that we don't no..... IM not drying to be a d**k... its just ive seen and used that stuff on a regular basis , i just really don't think its worth it or is even that nice of product... but again sorry to sound all stupid. I hope it turns out good for u though. id definitely like to see some close up picks when its done and all buffed out.

Ive heard good things about Sikkens, and I know they do good work there. Between me and you I could have cared less if they used the shitiest paint aslong as the car was worked, prepped and painted I could care less, the hood and other parts of the car were such an eyesore you don't understand.
