I know this type of topic has come up BILLIONS of times about tachs...
but on the real...
i installed a 52mm tach in my car and i know for sure i connected to the correct wire in the distrubtor cap cause me and my brother tap all the wires that would give the most current.
so this is my issue....i get a signal...but the the gauge still isnt reaching its rpm range...it will not go past 4k rpm..at all...even when i know for damn sure im redlining it...BUT!...sometimes when i punch it...it ups to 6 but then falls back to staying at 3-4....
so if any one of u guys have an idea or comment towords this then it would be greatly appreciated.
