k i didn't know where to put this but i have a 5 gen civic, I know this thread isn't about a civic but i really don't want to goto the trouble of Reg at clubintegra.com, So here she is! I just spent 2,000 bux for a brand new tranny in this car, It was a theft recovery it was missing the distributer and whoever stole it did neutral drops till the tranny was gone according to what the tranny shop said the tranny looked like on the inside, After it got stolen some guy that owned a body shop bought the car from a police auction for his son in he thought that he would fix it up, But his son decided he didn't want it so it sat in some dudes yard for 3 years till one day i was driving down Highway 69, I saw this little integra up on a trailer, On the window it said PARTS 300 obo, So i stoped and looked at iti was like damn thats not a bad car for 300 bux, The guy being the nice guy that he is let me take the valve cover off to get a idea of what the inside of the motor might look like, I mean by that like if they changed the oil alot or not, Out here in iowa cars can go months without oil changes because owners neglect to do it, But anyways got the cover off and was suprised to see that the inside of it was imaculant so clean you could almost eat off of it! So from what i gathered it needed a Distributer so far.......... So i paid the guy his 300 bux and he was cool about traliering it down to osceola for me about 15 miles, Got it home now the fun starts! Got a new distributer for it, k we have spark! Still no go! so i undid the fuel filter guess what no gas!! k must be the fuel pump from sitting all that time i know it locked up! K so i bought a fuel pump! took that tank off got all that junkyrad smelling gas outta it and popped that new pump in! Shabooozie! Fired right up! No blue smoke, no knocking nothing!Purred like a kitten! I was like hell yeah!! Time to drive! Hopped in and guess what?? The tranny was gone!!! Arrggghh I was pissed ! But hey 300 bux? ya get what you paid for! So i got it towed to a tranny shop! Already knowing it needed a new tranny! 2 weeks and 2000 dollars later got that b***h on the road! It's got plenty of power! Drives good to!! And you know what? Even though it's a auto, I feel good knowing i saved another honda/acura From going to the junk yard just to be stripped and crushed into non existance!!
P.S New exuast system coming soon! I am planning on cleaning this car up a lot!! so don't judge it to harshly! I just got it back from the tranny shop a few weeks ago and i need to save up some Endz!
