so ive been offered an engine swap from a friend that has gotten tired of his rsx type-s and i jumped at the opportunity. should i put a k20 into a 97' civic? i know this is stupid to ask but what benefits would i have with a k20 over my d16?? please any advice would help thnx! civicsrule

You sound like you need to do lot's of research.
Go to Youtube, and type in K Series, K Swap... Try searching this sight in the upper right corner and search google... When your done come back and if you still have a question which anyone that is worthy of a Kswap won't have that question..........

in all fairness, i admit i shouldve read some of these k20 swap-story threads before
i posted anything lmao but ive learned my lesson, and did my research of course.
ive been glued to my computer non stop learning every bit of a k-swap and i gotta admit
it's a good idea and im ready for all the challenges to come. ive confirmed the deal. ill be posting the

i got a ek8 i have the k20 swap in my garage pulled the d16 yesterday, im getting ahead of myself tho bc its alot of extra s**t that needs to be done as well. i wanna stay intouch with you we doing the same swap same car we might be able to answer each others questions during the swap. when do you thing youll be finished?
